Personnel Plus of Twin Falls is HIRING for an Automotive Mechanic Position in Twin Falls, Idaho Full Time Mon-Fri 40 hours a week Pay rate- Dependent On Experience Job Purpose Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other vehicles. Master mechanics repair virtually any part on the vehicle or specialize in the transmission system. Responsibilities: Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors. Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas. Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience. Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications. Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication’s, and tune-ups. Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps. Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems. Repair or replace parts such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings. Tear down, repair, and rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, and linkages. Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels. Repair radiator leaks. Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers. Repair manual and automatic transmissions. Repair or replace shock absorbers.

Personnel Plus of Twin Falls is hiring for an Estimator position in Twin Falls, Idaho Full time Monday-Friday Weekend as needed Temp to Hire Position Pay Rate- $17-19+ Dependent on Experience Duties and responsibilities Provide simple and complex written and spoken communication. Manage deadlines and shifting priorities. Provide timely and accurate quotes in an effort to achieve the goals and objectives of the department. Complete quotations according to departmental processes and procedures. Knowledge in or ability to learn how to read outside process pricing from vendors via fax, phone, and/or email. Route logged quotes using company routing program. Assist all departmental personnel when requested by supervisor. Be willing to train others, answer technical questions, and give updates on the status of quotes, complicated blueprints and military specifications. Communicate regularly with the engineering department to analyze complicated parts. Complete no-bid communication as requested. Maintain excellent organizational and time management skills. Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy is a requirement. Work in a safe and professional manner, keep a clean work area, and wear proper protective equipment. Cooperation with supervisor and co-workers, willing to work as a team. Timely arrival and regular attendance at work. Other duties as assigned.

Tool And Die Maker

Personnel Plus of Twin Falls is hiring for a Tool and Die Maker Temp to Hire position Full time 40+ hours $24-$26 Duties: include but not limited to Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills. Build and understand engineering of all new dies: Progressive, Draw, CI, etc. Set-up and operate tool room equipment with minimal or no supervision. Work cohesively with production department and die ship personnel. Able to work independently on most repair work. Able to read and understand all die drawings and piece part prints. Able to work on the production floor with little or no assistance. Assist CI Technicians in the CI department. Build CI dies and small progressive dies with little or no direction. Build replacement parts for CI and progressive dies from prints or existing parts. Proficiently work with precision measuring equipment. Apply thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes. Exhibit basic knowledge of capabilities: Wire EDM, CNC, and Jig Grinding, and what they will do to enhance project flow. Set up punch press, assist Press Operators on the press floor. Good center, flat, and form grinding skills. Run all Tool Room equipment: Mill, Drill, Lathe, Grinders, etc. Able to do heat treatment of die details. Good mechanical aptitude. Build and maintain tools and dies from blueprints, sketches, or oral instruction. Proficiently work with precision measuring equipment. Adapt to ever-changing priorities and production requirements.
