Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-    Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed.
-    Keeps work area clean and orderly per Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and 5S.
-    Performs assigned tasks that do not endanger the environment and adhere to company and regulatory standards.
-    Actively participates in the continuous improvement process.
-    Follow all GMPs and sanitation practices.
-    Make and label boxes for the next shift.
-    Ensure box and packet codes, dates, lots, etc. are clear, legible, and accurate.
-    Perform scale, metal detector, and auger checks per required frequency and document checks and findings.
-    All paperwork must be filled out accurately, legibly, and completely.
-    Constantly watch the quality of packets and boxes; seals, weights, length, codes, dates, and packet count.
-    Pull high-resolution samples for the Quality Assurance technician. 
-    Packets are run through a metal detector into boxes.  Boxes are filled per specific packet count.
-    Keep the work area clean and organized while running. Clean up further at the end of each shift.
-    Change film on machines as needed.
-    Observe all safety and sanitation practices. Equipment will require washing and sanitizing.
-    Follow the color-coding system.
-    Work other areas as assigned when packets are not being run.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:
-    Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions and climb on and off lift truck throughout shift
-    Need reading, writing, math, and computer skills   

-    Complete knowledge of sifting, blending, and processing and dryer
-    Ability to operate (or learn to operate) lift truck
-    Be able to lift 50 pounds throughout shift
-    Must be mechanically inclined
-    Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision     

-    Must be dependable and trustworthy
