Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Skilled Welder in Boise, ID for industrial heating systems

    Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm

DUTIES:

    Perform TIG, or Stick welding on various metal components, ensuring strong and precise welds
    Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure correct execution
    Inspect welds to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements
    Maintain and operate welding machines, including performing routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly
    Assemble electric immersion heaters by attaching electrical components, wiring, and heating elements to the heater housing
    Test electrical components and ensure all connections are secure and meet safety standards
    Verify the proper operation of immersion heaters through quality control tests, including resistance, temperature, and insulation checks
    Follow safety guidelines and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
    Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety and keep work areas organized and clean
    Maintain and clean tools and equipment, including welding machines and hand tools
    Other duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

    1+ years of experience in welding and mechanical/electrical assembly, preferably in the heating or industrial manufacturing sectors.
    Proficient in TIG, Stick welding and understanding various metals (steel, stainless steel, titanium, etc.).
    Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly for immersion heaters (wiring, heating elements).
    Ability to lift heavy components up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
    Comfortable working in various environments, standing for long periods, and exposure to welding fumes
    Must be drug-free
