Part-Time Farm Driver  

Personnel Plus, Inc. Burley is now hiring for a Part-Time Driver to join our team. This is a 1–2 day per week position, with hours varying based on weather and peak harvest season needs.

Pay: $15.00/hour (straight time, no overtime)
Schedule: Days, Part-time position it can be 1 or 2 days out week. Also is depending on weather

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles
Transport materials/products as needed
Follow all safety and traffic regulations
Communicate effectively with team members
Operate and position field loader (unloading conveyor) at rear of tipping trailers to transfer potatoes to pilers will be reaching and pulling, twisting.
Assist with loading and unloading operations as required, ensuring efficient product flow and minimizing crop damage

Duties:

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Communicate well with others.
Correctly log your truck out at the end of the day.
Report defects, accidents, or violations.
Ensure the product is delivered in a timely fashion.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record
Dependable and punctual
Flexible availability
Prior driving or agricultural experience is a plus.

Outdoor, weather-dependent
Fast-paced during harvest

Ability to tarp trucks and maintain cleanliness
