Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Tire Technician / General Shop Assistant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is removing and installing tires on cars and trucks, repairing flat tires, and assisting with general shop duties.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Mount and dismount tires, perform flat repairs, and complete vehicle inspections

Perform retail and commercial tire services
Check tire pressure, balance and rotate tires, and complete all tire-related services
Ensure lug nuts are tightened to proper torque specifications
Assist with oil changes
Receive deliveries, organize inventory, and follow parts ordering procedures (Quick Guide Parts Ordering on Treadnet)
Assist with opening and closing duties, including end-of-day tasks
Maintain customer satisfaction through clear and professional communication
Perform general facility maintenance: sweeping, trash removal, and organizing supplies
Keep the parking lot free of debris and garbage
Assist with warehouse organization, including grouping tires, maintaining clean rows, and ensuring safe work areas
Maintain clean workspaces, including bays, customer vehicles, and commercial tire vehicles
Provide shuttle or courtesy driving services when needed
Assist with phone and counter duties
Complete all assigned training
Support lube shop and alignment operations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Provide general labor and shop support
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Must speak English
Well-groomed appearance (no shaggy/unprofessional look)
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Valid Driver license
Prior tire or automotive experience preferred
Currently not on probation

Compensation:

Pay based on experience and interview
