Our client, a reputable local company, is immediately hiring a Quality Control Inspector to inspect machined and fabricated components and support quality initiatives throughout production. This is a full-time career opportunity offering excellent weekday hours, advancement potential, and employer-paid benefits upon hire.
Pay and schedule: Starting at $18/hour or more, depending on experience. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime. Enjoy weekends off!

What you’ll do:
Perform in-process and final quality-control inspections
Ensure machined and fabricated components meet customer specifications
Gather and compile quality data for First Article Inspections
Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards
Read customer packaging requirements and verify final packaging
Communicate with employees, vendors, and customers by phone, email, and online systems
Assist with quality documentation, reporting, and tracking
Support production and quality initiatives across departments
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
Previous quality-assurance or quality-control experience
Experience using precision measuring tools, such as CMMs, height gauges, profilometers, and calipers
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and team members
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Reliable transportation
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is highly preferred
GD&T knowledge is a plus
Experience with tubing, pipes, valves, or fittings is helpful but not required
SolidWorks or QuickBooks experience is a plus
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
