Production Drum Operator  

Location: Potato Processing Plant
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Rotating schedule (2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on)
Shifts: Days (8 a.m.–8 p.m.) and Graveyard (8 p.m.–8 a.m.)
Pay: Starting pay varies; increases upon rollover to full-time

Job Summary

Personnel Plus is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to join a potato processing facility. Employees will assist with production, packaging, receiving, and drum operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires teamwork, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a hot production environment.

Responsibilities

Operate on production, packaging, receiving, or drum lines

Perform pre-start-up checks and assist with troubleshooting and adjustments

Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and LOTO requirements

Perform GMP and sanitation procedures and complete required documentation

Work collaboratively with co-workers and support management

Perform continuous lifting (approximately 30 lbs) and shoveling

Navigate stairs and perform physical labor throughout the shift

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Heavy, repetitive lifting and labor-intensive tasks

Exposure to heat and potential heat stress

Frequent stair climbing

Standing and working for 12-hour shifts

Qualifications

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Previous factory or production experience preferred (training provided)

Ability to work both day and graveyard shifts

Strong attention to detail and safety
