Our client, a reputable Boise manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Production Administrative Assistant to support production orders, inventory, scheduling, and daily operations. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering excellent hours, career-growth potential, and a comprehensive benefits package upon hire.
Pay and schedule: $20–$23/hour, depending on experience. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Enjoy weekends off!
What you’ll do:
Accurately enter production orders, inventory information, and job-tracking data
Process and update customer orders in the ERP system
Assist the Production Manager with administrative tasks and daily operations
Prepare and organize work orders, job packets, and production documents
Coordinate the pulling and staging of materials for production runs
Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible records
Communicate with production, inventory, and administrative teams
Help track production schedules, workflow, and deadlines
Support inventory control through data updates and basic cycle counts
Complete filing, scanning, and general document management
Identify and communicate discrepancies involving orders or materials
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong data-entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organization and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow established processes and instructions
Basic math skills
Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds when staging materials
One year of administrative, data-entry, or production-support experience is preferred
Experience with ERP systems or manufacturing environments is preferred
SolidWorks experience is a plus
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
