Pre-Installer/Door Hardware Installation $25.00 p/h  

    Full-time, day shift hours
    Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm & Fridays, 7 am – 11 am
    Summertime hours are Monday-Thursday, 6 am – 4:30 pm
    $25.00 p/h DOE!

DUTIES:

    Receives hardware from the warehouse for the specific project
    Read and understand hardware instructions and templates
    Install hardware on wood doors before delivery to the job site, i.e., locks, closers, exit devices, in the pre-install/warehouse location
    Work with the Pre-install PM for coordination
    Read and understand door/hardware schedules
    Read and understand architectural floor plans
    Field work as needed- install doors in the field
    Other duties and responsibilities, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

    5-7 years of installing door hardware is preferred, but not required
    Work well with others or in a team environment
    Understand and have core values- Integrity, Respect, Excellence & Collaboration
    Ability to take direction from management
    Time management and organizational skills
    Attention to detail
    Industry knowledge of preps and hardware
    Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
    Ability to use the necessary tools for the pre-install shop, such as hand and power tools
    Forklift certification (desired, not mandatory at hire)
    Regular travel to job sites, as needed
    Be drug-free
    Pass a background check
