Packaging Technician – Specialty Manufacturing  

Personnel Plus, Inc. Boise, is NOW HIRING for a Packaging Technician in Boise
• Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• $18.00 p/h to start, DOE
• Employer-paid benefits upon full-time hire
Duties:
• Read, understand, and follow customer packaging requirements and specifications
• Package products by cleaning, bagging, labeling, and applying protective wrapping materials
• Assemble boxes and crates for shipping
• Create shipping and product labels and enter shipment data into customer portals
• Assist with warehouse shipping/receiving and quality department tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Perform repetitive packaging tasks and long periods of standing as required
Requirements:
• Previous packaging or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in a clean or controlled environment preferred
• Ability to read shop drawings and follow established SOPs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work occasional overtime
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
